easiest to open? I'm leaning towards the LM Juice XE6. as you do not have
to open the pliers fully to use the blade, or am i wrong? Any other options?

Yep the XE6 is easy to open, but you need two hands, it's a folding slipjoint. All the tools except the screwdrives open from the outside.
I would say the new charge/new wave/old wave as the easiest to open, they are one-handed operation.
