i have been looking at a couple lately but dont know what i want, the three i have been looking at are the new quartermaster "Mr. Roper" design, a small sebenza 21 insingo with micarta inlays (already have a plain jane small) or a hinder 3" xm-18 slicer grind no flipper (but ill probably never find one)

but anyways any opinion is appreciated, and looking back on my post it looks like i should be going for the quartermaster but please let me know what you think

I would love to own an Insingo one day (when I make my first million). The blade shape is fantastic, and of course everything else is Chris Reeve quality.

Since I have a Insingo with micarta inlays, I say the CRK. It's like your favorite place to eat, you know what you are getting and the quality when you get it. Sometimes you have to go with what you know

All are good knives. If I had to choose between the 3 I would go with the XM-18. Until you can find one you should get a ZT 550 to hold you over!

BladeHQ had some XM-18s pop up on their "New Arrivals" page..... for a few hours... >_>

Don't buy the Mr. Roper unless you like supporting thieves. That design was stolen from Warren Thomas who never saw a single red cent from it. Look up the Warren Thomas 2.5 folder... Quartermaster lies about their affiliations with custom knife makers, the country of manufacture of their knives, and the materials that they use. Please stop supporting this company and support the actual makers who were hurt by the actions of this unethical business.
