What are some of the really great drooling things you have.
Some neat things I recently bought or traded for:
a new camera for work. Canon A80. I'm still going gaga over this.
Ease of use, definition, WOW!!
I'm getting one for myself after I pay the taxes :)

Becker Necker Lovely design with the usual Becker blade. Outstanding!! Probably use it as a belt blade.

12 inch HI AK. A beauty in a small package.

Pipes: Peterson Ireland delightful draw.
Savinelli Lolita Haven't smoked it yet.
Butz Choquin - Usual smoking delight. One of my fav makers.
Meershaum Like when it yellows. Lots of smokin to get that tho :)

My edc light is a newly acquired "Baby Pin" from Mr. Bulk of CPF noteriety :)
A 1x123, 1 watt luxeon led in a fox xenon light host. It has a fraen lp optic that is a killer of a bright powerful beam. Simply AMAZING.

I'm waiting with baited breath for delivery on:
Brend Benchmade. I don't knoiw if it's talon I or II (clipless or clip)

Kershaw double duty Tried one out in DaveH's Rollock passaround. It's an awesome design. Tho I'll say that about each of the knives :)

CRK urban shark large

Benchmade 305

Colibri Director cigar lighter with integrated scissor cutter, that I DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, lost when I was with Flashoholics for NY photonFestI :(
The only Colibri that was reliable in a long history of lighters.

I hope to see some pics from Torment of his new camera.

I look forward to see your stuff here.

Tom

I'll try to take some good pics today :D It took me quite a while to get the battery pack charged but it has stayed up for quite a while as well.

I wish those Space Needle IIs weren't so expensive...I would love to have one. That is definately what I need to blind my neighbors at night lol.

I wanted to see some pictures from that Canon A80...I haven't heard enough about it. What is the difference between it and the A70?

Sounds like you got a lot of pre-Christmas presents :D

I just purchased an ARC AAA for my dad for Christmas...he complained that he couldn't see to get into his car at night sometimes so I took it as a hint. I think I'll have to get one for myself once I see it....looks very compact. I have way too many expensive little toys lol...

Sebenza, iPAQ 5455, 10gb iPod, Canon S200, Olympus C-5060WZ, Escort Passport 8500, Surefire M2 and E2e, Nokia 8265, and a ton of other little crap. I thought I was getting older turning 20 last week...but NOOOOO way :D :D

well with me it is my knives and my canes, don't have very many knives left but the ones i do have are very special to me.and with my canes i have six combat canes really like them all but my pride and joy is a canemasters master cane, select hickory heart, teardrop shaft, red eyes on fang crook--looks beautiful and works well too

Tom, you mind hosting a picture for me? I just took a couple with my camera and wanted to post my best picture of my Sebenza and Surefire E2e. Let me know.

We just got cable (I have never had that) and a new TV, so the we are still in the 'thrill' stage. My wife just told me that she is already starting to see it as 'the TV' rather than the 'new TV.'

Over Christmas I'm getting a new Harley. Whether it will be a 2003 carry-over or a new 2004, it will be a Dyna-Glide. Simple, to be sure, but it does have an electric starter (sheez, what's that?). I'd like to get a 2004 for one reason, fuel injection, but there's always the wrenches and a manual for conversion.

(Back 'in the day,' an owner would actually work on his own bike. It's a shock, I know but trust me, few bikers where actually struck blind.)

I did score a new Glock and I'm always looking for new Striders.

While looking around at eBay yesterday, I came across one of the new Casio Tough Solar ProTrek watches that made my brain go into overload...I WANT one of those!!, eventho it's as big as a wall clock, and looks to be as complicated as the cockpit of a fighter jet!

I just got my Surefire L6 digital Lumamax and it is currently my newest "toy" it has more than its share of wow factor. Looking at the business end of this is like looking down the business end of a cocked 44 mag(not advised)

Lots of drool factor here :)

Torment email to ya. I can host pics for you. :)

I played with an L6 at NJ Photonfest and it is, indeed, like a 44 mag. Awesome light.

I often get the urge for another bike and the harley's are THE form factor. for sure.

Tom

What other cool stuff did they have at the Photonfest and could you take picture inside?

I would have loved to have seen all the new crap before everyone else :D

Got Pic?

Torment, The Photonfest was a group of guys getting together in the dark of west NJ to play with all our lights.
The lights were incredible.
HID in a 1 cell mag lite
KL5, KL6
Other SF and developement lights
aircraft runway lights
Standard array of top end SF
I've been on CPF for a while and I have too many lights.
The LED technology is quickly approaching incandescent power.
There were some that were a rival for my Tigerlight FBOP
MisterX from Australia is very powerful.
The usual Mr. Bulk LGI, super LGI, Space needle, etc.

Here's a pic of comparison size from that thread. BP is second from the right.

It is quite the cat's meow!!

And a pic from Torment's new Olympus camera.
Sebenza and SF e2e
What a splendid combo.

Great composition and a fine pic. I reduced it for our Phone connection brethren :)

Torment was this auto or manual settings?

Tom

That picture was pretty much auto. It was in macro, the shutter speed was 1/500 or 1/1000, aperture was f4.8 i believe. I just set the camera to aperture priority, set macro on, and adjusted the aperture for depth of field.

I just set up my tripod in my room and snapped a few shots with the window blinds open. Turned out pretty good to me. That is on the high quality setting since I didn't want to add more size to it using super high quality. Hopefully my next pictures will be a little better.

Thanks for hosting my pic Tom :D

I have a KL1 sitting atop a Doug Speck UBH...Universal Battery Holder.
I used it frequently but now it's going to become a trade or sell item, I think.

It's nice about the light output of the ARC ls.
I like the small size of the Arc ls with 1x123 clickie switch.

Whoa! That Baby Pin is really something. Do you know if Mr. Bulk will be making more of them?
