You obviously need an ASH1...:thumbup:

If you buy an LE (shown above) plus a Combat Grade one, and beg for a Hog Name, you can then buy a HE (Hog Edition) for a mere $167.:thumbup:

+1 on the ASH1.

I'd go with the LE and the GC... but that's just me. :D :p
Oh... and the skinny too!

And while we're spending your money :D ... You should get a mistress or 3. ;)
At least one of each kind... LE, CG, FF... and, and a SHBM...
definitely need one of those.

I know you said next ONE.... but I never said I could count. :D

.

Good Lord, Plucker!! :eek::eek:

Far too hard a question!

You're just starting ... and you've got a lot of catching up to do.

Sure, you should get an ASH-1. But you should also be looking out for Battle Mistresses, at least an FBM or FFBM -- especially before the prices on those start to inflate.

And there's all the EDCs ... man, too tough for Friday. :grumpy:

you definitely need a battle mistress...

if you can afford it, a SHBM would be nice, but if you want a reasonably priced mistress, you should go with an ergo or a fusion....i recommend fusion....

many many variations of the fusion battle mistress available....

CGFBM: combat grade battle mistress....sabre ground with CBT bevel, .25" thick, coated blade.....scallop pattern on the spine is unique to CGFBMs....

FFBM: fat flat battle mistress....sabre ground with flat bevel, .31" thick, coated blade....spine scallop pattern identical to LE and SE versions....3 different variations in tip styles: 1)penetrator tip ; 2)swedge ; 3)flat top tip

FBMLE: fusion battle mistress limited edition...full height flat grind, .31" thick, satin finish blade, tigerhide handle slabs, serial number on blade....spine scallop pattern identical to FFBM/SE models...swedge tip...

2007 FBMSE: fusion battle mistress special edition, very rare blade, .25" thick, sabre grind with flat bevel.....double cut blade

2008 FBMSE: fusion battle mistress special edition, also very rare, .25" thick, full height flat grind, satin finish blade, 4" sharpened swedge, G-rex handle slabs.....the lighest of all the standard FBMs....not standard though by any means, as it is a custom shop offering.....my favorite FBM.....i was told only 30 were made......

either way, whatever you decide, you absolutely need a battle mistress.....

Ash1... hurry up and get them while you can. A beast of a knife! I have two, but one should last a lifetime.

You have the little EDC knife with your HC. Now you need a medium and a large.

Medium:
  • Adding fuel to the fire... get an ASH1! If you can swing it get the ASH1 LE (or/and)
  • Score in the Ganza and pick up a Sarsquatch, JackHammer or Hellrazor

Large:
  • Get a FBM before the prices go up much more (or/and)
  • Watch for a Dogfather or Battle Rat

That's what I would do if I were you. :D

"Battle this addiction???" Surely you jest! It will always be "just one more" from now on, brother Hog! :D What you need next, my good man, is a Hell Razor...or a BM-E...or a Cultie...or...or...just gimmie the INFI, man!! :D

Since Busse's are meant to be used just take a look at your current line up and see where you have a hole to fill. Do you need a large chopper? then buy a FMB, or FFBM etc.

If those pictures in your post are your knifes, I would say that the Bony AD is a perfect small edc, the SArsquatch will cover all your medium knife needs. get a large chopper.

BATTLE MISTRESS!!!!!!

In any form, but I would suggest Fusion since they are cheaper and more plentiful. I think to really appreciate INFI you should have a monster chopper, but thats personal opinion, others may vary.

Its just when you hit a nail in a pallett or something and the steel just rolls and says "that all you got" you fall in love with it.I have had scotch forgive spelling etc.

ASH-1 in CG and LE flavors for starters...

Then, the Boney and the Mistress...

or maybe a skinny ash-1, desert sage with mag black micarta's, now that would be very nice

op, drank some scotch you would like at hamfrans place, a real manly scotch, burned the hair right off my tongue!
