What next?

Hello one and all,

Now that I have my first BKT, bk2, and put it through its first- and only so far, many more to go- successful camping trip, I was curious as to what Becker knife I should get next? Whats a good tag along knife? I bought my lady a BK11 and she used it A LOT, they make great feather sticks by the way. So eventually I'll grab one, but would like something different at the moment.

If you guy's can post other Becker knives that you have and what chores you give them, what areas they really shine, and any sort of synergistic properties it has with the BK2 I would be very greatful.

I would suggest a bk14, or relieve your lady friend of her bk11. I carry my bk14 everyday along with a kershaw blur. I actually use the becker for any task I find.
 
I EDC my BK14, it excels in anything but precision whittling. Really a great knife, comfortable if wrapped with really beefy paracord, thick blade for stability, and great HT in 1095 steel. What more can you ask for?

BK7, BK5 or BK9
I went back to using my BK7 for most tasks, its the perfect length and the thinner blade is excellent for cutting
take your pick they will all work....
 
BK2 is great for small stuff so unless you just want something that carries easier (like the BK14), I'd go bigger. BK9 all the way!

BK14 if you are looking for smaller. BK9 if you want to go bigger. Ms. Jackson if you are nasty.
 
Lots to choose from, the BK14, BK7, BK9, Exotics, BK5. They all tend to pull double duty on something, both in the woods, and in the house.

Good luck, with lots of choices, I would say you are going to need it.

Might I suggest, the BK7, very versitile blade, and a favorite amongst the Beckerheads?

There is a lot to think about, and I think I'm leaning more towards the bk7 or bk9.
