It's all marketing,building anticipation so whatever is released,people will buy it at any price.

Kind of like how game companies announce new games a year before release.

This marketing strategy works on a lot of people,not me though.:yawn:

I lose interest pretty quick,prime example would be the NMFSH..At first I was like cool,I'll get one.One week later,no pics and I was less interested in purchasing one.

3 weeks later I couldn't care less about it.

If a pic was posted on day one and available for purchase the next day I would own one right now.If I see something I like,I buy it.

Not too much into games,although it has been this way with Busse for a while,not my way of doing things..I guess I am just getting old:D
 
I kind'a feeling the same way at first I was hot to spend spend spend but now I thinking the holidays are apon us may be i should start saving ,,I dont know,,if it happen in few days my common sence will probely go out the window and i be owning a new Busse for the display case,But I dont see it happening soon but you never know
 
Have to agree..I have a short attention span and like impulse buying...generally something else will come up that takes my money. The private seller forum on this site and the three others I go to will be the death of me.

Yeah, I'm just starting to get into Busse -- so far I own a few Scrap Yard 511s and BOSS Jack CGs -- and feel the same way. But I guess a lot of people must enjoy the anticipation/uncertainty, the mad rush to submit orders to get the lowest LE serial numbers once the 'Go' button is posted, and so forth, or Jerry and the gang wouldn't be doing things that way.
 
Jerry knows what he is doing. It is very much like the Apple way of doing things, but slightly more direct.
Apple doesn't say peep, about what's coming down the pipeline. But the rumor sites try and guess thus building anticipation.
By the time the new product is announced it is available for order that day or the next. And boy does it work.
The main reason being, you have not had several months to rationalize the purchase, and mull over the features.
When a rumor of a new product coming out is announced, people start putting money aside for said product.
And there is a feeding frenzy when it is released.
 
I Think Jerry should take those Knoboganzaaa knives to the Tulsa Arms show in november and bring along the first Release NMFSH
 
I'm not trying to be a party pooper, but the NMFSH is probably going to be similar to the BWM or the NMSFNO.

And yes, the teasing doesn't work for everybody, but it's what Busse does.

Oh, I completely agree about it being a very savvy marketing/sales strategy, especially given that, like Apple, Busse has build an incredibly devoted following.
 
And like Apple, that savvy marketing strategy is backed up by top flight products.
I would much rather wait a little longer, for a well executed end-product.
 
I used to like hitting the f5 button on the busse company store...I havent looked at that website for years. It used to feel like you won a competition when you landed something in your basket.

Dying for a new toy before season starts. Guess I will have to wait.
 
Saving for the holidays here... no Ganzaaa for me!:( Unless I see a NMFSH - then my family is gonna have to go without this year!:eek::foot::rolleyes:

But really, I don't/won't have $$$ for a Ganzaa unless I win the lottery which I don't play - in other words, it needs to rain money for me to be able to hit-up a Ganzaa!

Edit: I'm waiting on another CC hit for a CG-BJ - so unless they're free, I'm USC w/o a paddle
