I was thinking about using Mineral Oil or Mobil One. Which is recommended for FRN spyderco's. Some will get on the FRN and I don't want it to melt.

I've used Break Free clp for years and have had no problems. just put a couple of drops on,work action a couple of times, and wipe off excess. never had any problems with any of my spydercos. later, ahgar

I've used Tuf-Glide, FP-10 & Militec without any problem.

(Not all at the same time...! ;) )

I'm not as knowledgable as many on the forum but I use an oil called "Tri-Flow". It's made for bicycle chains and has Tefon in it. I think it works great.

Fear not, FRN is for all intents impervious to any cleaning/lubrication products I've used, from 1,1,1 Trichlor.... thene(old gunscrubber, very vicious on many plastics) to castrol superclean to transmission fluid, nothing has hurt it yet.

I've used just good old standard mineral oil on all my knives for over a year now. I tried Miltec-1 and a couple other ones and just wasn't too impressed. The same stuff that you can drink as a laxitive (if needed) is perfect for knife lube. :)

Plus it will not get rancid like vegetable oil.

I use mineral oil on all my FRN Spydies as well as my BM Axis locks, and my Buck 110, and Kershaws also. ;)
