I was asked by a few forumites to post my wares for the Arkansas show tomorrow. Since they (knife buyers) took all my knives at the Reno show I've only had time to build 2 more. The largest bowie I've ever made and a stag hunter.

Here's pics of the "Muey Grande' Bowie". Spanish for "very big".
14.5" ladder pattern blade of W2 and 15n20. Overall length 20.25"
Fossil Walrus Oosic handle with heat colored guard, buttcap and finial knob. Coin edged front ferrule of nickel silver. Takedown bowie.

Enjoy. Stop by and visit me at the show.

I really like that oosic handle on that very nice looking Bowie.

Muey Sempatico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice talking to you in Reno.
I should fly in to Little Rock just to buy that Bowie.Lovely.

That big bowie is a beauty. If you are only going to take two knives to Little Rock then it is a good thing for the folks attending that they will be as nice as these.

Ron, you musta had to back waaaaaaaay up to take the picture of that bowie. Awesome stuff as always! The hunter is just sublime.

Cheers,

Roger

Thanks gentlemen. Roger...you hit it dead on.It's obvious you photograph knives. As a matter of fact I did get waaaaaay back from the knife.

I keep coming back to have a look at that bowie. Big surprise, I know :p . While the 14 1/2" damascus blade gets my attention, it's the asymmetrical, slightly teardrop-shaped guard that has me hooked. Just beautiful.

Saw both of these jewels up close in Little Rock. Somebody got some VERY nice knives. That giant muthahumma was totally awesome!

:)

The more I look at that mosaic damascus on the hunter the more mesmerized I become. That is some really beautiful steel.

Dan, you lucky dog you! I would have loved to get to see and possibly handle those knives.

Keith, sometimes getting to see these babies up close and personal and then knowing that you cannot own them, is bordering on torture itself. ;)
