What other Knives,,,Besides Busse???

was wandering what other blade's you HOG's carried and used besides your Busse's
while out in the bush, camping, or attempting to board a major airline :confused: :D
 
I have knives from all of the below makers that fulfill particular requirements, or appeal to me for various reasons.

I love my Camillus Dominator,
I also have a number of smaller gent knives,
Like a Queen Schatt and Morgan ATS-34 canoe,
a Case Pearl Canoe,
Two William Henries,
Spyderco Jot, rescue, cal jr, and native, and salsa
Delta Z Osprey
CS Voyager Lg clip pt.
Benchmade Ritter grip, and 710, and the Ares (735 I think, it's the green one)
CRKT M16, tanto, Viele wasp, seahawk
Timberline Lightfoot pistol grip
Emerson something... Specwar folder, I think....
Simonich Talonite Bitteroot used strictly for opening bags of salt for the water softener, can't go around using steel to open those.... :D
and a few others,
for carrying daily, I use mostly folders,
for in the house I use Busses, unless I'm wearing my folder,
oh, and I also keep a Case tiny toothpick upstair for removing loose threads from clothing.
I also have a Case Mako lockback that I enjoy.
In the kitchen, I have a set of Hoffritz knives, I also have a few small victorinox serrated paring knives.
 
I`ve always had a soft spot for Buck knives, especially older ones. The first good knife I owned was a Buck back in the late 60`s.

Busse and Swamp Rat are all I use. I have a couple of Chris Reeve blades, but I can't bring my self to use them knowing I might leave a Busse neglected from the abuse it so rightly deserves. I recently bought a HI Khukri, so I might work it in to the abuse regimen, but I don't know. Like I said, I hate to leave a Busse or a Rat sitting the bench. I do have a SAR tool that I keep in my first aid kit and use occasional because of the scissors on it.

I've been expanding my choices. Besides my Busses, I now have at least one knife from each of the following, all of which are user grade:

For folders, I prefer not to spend big bucks on something with a hinge in the middle of it. I don't own a RatTrap simply because I don't care for plastic handled "tactical" knives. Titanium or stainless in my pockets:

Plastic? I thought G10 was fiberglass. . .?

All my knives are non-Busses. (unless rats count)
hopefully that will change.
Maybe in 2,456 weeks I will have enough scratch for a FBM, just in time for the release date.:foot:

I've only been carring my LMS for about a year, prior / still are

small SAK
spyderco military, my main folder (until the Busse folder is available :eek: )
AG Russle one hander (laminated Damascus), too cool to not carry.

my belt knife forever was an Anza 713, now replaced with the LMS, if it's a dirty, ugly job, the Anza is still my favorite "beat the he11 out of knife", although that honor is moving towards my DABA.

John Ek M-5 , has been my "big" knife since the late 80's, just can't give it up, has never failed me. Rotates with a Ek Model 3 S/F.

I use a Swiss bayonet for yard work, they're cheap and indestructable.
