here is bone handled, beat-up, Premium Stock knife, same size as an 8OT, marked on clip blade:Schrade/Walden/N.Y. U.S.A. and pile side:Stainless

i think this one is pre introduction of the 8OT (1959), so is this an 881 ? or were other pattern #s given to the 4" Stock knife ?

Interesting knife Roland, with the red scales and SS blades. With no pile side pattern stamp, I'd wager that is a late 40's early 50's knife. Id say it is an 881 for sure.

Here are a bunch with the 88 "Texas" frame from the 1926 Catalog, along with some of the with rounded bolsters. All are 4" knives. My they made some cool variations back in the day.

Here is your ancestor Roland. They even did SS in 1926.

That pattern is an oldie but goody.

I'd love to grab a peachseed 880 some day. This is a great pattern.
