what product to use to maintain the polish of the blade?

what product do you use to bring back the mirror polish of the blade after a hard days use?

Most of us don't restore the polished finish after usage.
We just clean the blade with soap and water using a scotchbrite pad and effectively put on a satin like finish for field use.

The only way to really effectively restore the high polish is to re buff the blade on a powered buffer.

I'd try some "Mothers" polish. I've used it on many a blade and stainless S&W revo.

I don't, as I like a good, deep patina.
Yet my gals like their khuks bright at the end of the job so they wash with warm soap and water and after drying a bit they go over it with a Fabulustre jewelers cloth, it's impregnated with red jewelers rouge and on the obverse side the material is slightly rough for removing any leftover rouge. Please go slow and safe.
Enjoy,
Mark

edited to add: The exception I can readily think of is the HI Skean Dhu which is kept very bright and shiny. :)

You can also use Never Dull from eagle one. I use this on my knives, razors, pretty much anything metal with a polished exterior
