I cant find any good programs to use. They either have low framerate, or ****** resolutions. Anyone know of a good program to record videos?

Laterz.

Well...Resolution is base on your cam, not the software. So if your camera can only handle 16fps at 16x120, get a new cam.

I use the Logitech software that came with my quickcam pro. Pretty good with a slew of compression codecs.

Also, look into Ulead Media studio or if you know what you're doing, Adobe Premier. Those are both good starts, or Logitech, if that's the kind of cam you have.

Well, I use Adobe Premier. And as long as you know computers to a certain degree, it's not that hard to use. Plus it has very versatile controls that let you get the best possible quality for bali vids, without the ludicrous file sizes. Search back on earlier posts, as this has been discussed before.

My friends and I have also been using Adobe Premier to make the upcoming Film: Ned The Ninja The Movie. (shameless plug :D) It's a 15 minute short film about your average Joe and his day-to-day adventures... only this average Joe happens to be a ninja for no damn good reason. :D And yes, it's very bali related, as there's a good minute of serious bali action. The sound track is being done at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and will be done in early May. Go to www.ninjaporn.com for audio-less clips in the near future. Don't worry, there's no actual porn, just ninjas...

I have a camcorder, and a Nikon 880 digital camera.

I use my video card to transfer the video feed directly to my HD.

I was asking about programs to use, becasue the program that comes with my vid card is pretty mucch crap, it only allows video caputure of 320x240 and max fps of 15.

Blasto, Adobe Premiere never even crossed my mind. I guess that would be the best bet. Thanks

Off to shoot some vids...anyone know how to edit out blood? heheheh
