Have'nt got mine in hand yet, so i'm just curious as to what you guys are going to use your Boss Jacks for? What will they replace as far as uses go?

I'm thinkin hip worn, to compliment my SHSHII on my pack.

And Boss Street in horiz belt rig....

Thanks Man, yeah i'll have to pick up a sheath also. I wonder if it'll be a good candidate for horizontal cross draw. And what sheath would best fill that role.

I wear my Boss Street as EDC in a Buy Brown kydex, horizontal. I love it. My original intent for the Boss Jack was as a larger self-defense knife, to replace the Street, but it may be a bit too big :) It's really almost a bayonet. Wearing it horizontal in the small of the back maybe, with a sheath with two tek-lok's might do it. I wear the Street cross-draw on my front left.

I will say, the Boss Jack is flat out the most beautiful Busse I have ever touched. I absolutely love it. I can't really imagine it in anything but a fighter role though. But am sure there are plenty of Hogs with better imaginations who will share their views! =]

Just got my Boss Jack and BB kydex, both are excellent. Pics incoming.

As for what I plan to use mine for, it's going to be an EDC knife for when I'm not at work as well as a hiking blade. I love mine.

Yes i was thinking it may be alittle large for crossdraw but was'nt sure not having mine yet in hand. I guess you could also use it as a hunting knife along with a smaller knife though. I'll have to see where she fits in, because i don't really plan on doing any knife fighting.

A former member hear beat the snot out of a LE. He hacked better with it than most I've seen with a HH. I'm tempted to have it do the same duty - tree whackin isn't ALL you use a knife for. I'd say a lighter alternative to a SH or larger.

Bingo. That's my plan.:)

Sounds like its going to be a winner by all the hype i've heard. Certainly less costly than a SHSJ-LE that you can beat on.

mid-sized knife of a 3-knife do-everything setup, w/ my BWM and a little slicer (TBD).

I'll probably wear it on my hip outdoors, with the BWM and slicer in/on my pack.

or if I only want to tote one, I'll just bring my .32 ASH as an all-purpose blade.

once I settle on a little slicer my Busse needs are done. I'm excited... ;)

not that I don't love these knives, but I have many costly interests.

...my Busse needs are done.

You aren't the first nor will you be the last to make such a bold statement. And if you can actually stay true to your word, you'll definitely be in a very small group of Busse affecionados.

That's cause INFI is like crack! And all the HOGs are a bunch of pushers!!

Now....when's the next Ganzaaa????? :o

True.

Lucky for me - I only buy users, only need so many (and, frankly, it was hard to justify keeping the ASH but I'm just so attached since it's so awesome and was my first), and it's taken me about 3yrs just to get to this point.

I'm just not the collector type, and admit it's a bit of a stretch to even justify needing four of them (once I pick a thin-er slicer), so while I admit anything is possible (say, if a BOSS NICK ever came out), but my chances are good.

It helps that I have guns to replace, a hotrod to build, a new bike to buy, trips to take, girls to date, a mountain house to build, and a myriad of other expenses that stretch what I earn, and I don't like being in debt either.

Wish me luck, I know it's difficult. ;)

Oh, I'm with you alright. Few things in life that are worthwhile come easy. :)

Sounds like you've got alot of irons in the fire. Yes infi is some great steel and there never seems to be enough $$ to buy them all. So as long as you have some infi it is far better than never having no infi. Or never knowing just what you've missed out on. The Boss Jack just looks so close to the old SJ's that i just have to see for myself. One in satin though would be the cats meow.

Yup, I'm in my second wave. I said that same thing a few months ago. The problem is you're still lurking around here. Just when you thought you were out, Jerry pulls you back in.
