I have been watching Nutnfancys vids and I like them but many people kinda state that his reviewing isn't always the most accurate. So now I am kinda scared off of buying the spyderco tenacious or persistence due to him reviewing them. So who's reviews do you trust the most for accuracy and such?

well to me there is no best reviewer. You should watch as many reviews as possible, then formulate your own opinion. Its like learning about politics. Don't look for the supposed "best" source. Always look for multiple sources.

I occasionally watch Nutnfancy but I like Cutlerylover and Cajunblaze a lot better. They give honest no BS reviews without "running and gunning" and all that other tacticool nonsense.

If I'm buying a knife (I have no stores to try them), I'll use the search or new thread functions and try to learn about it. I also watch more than one video about the knife to get different opinions. :)

Nutnfancy is the only one I ever watch. I think his reviews are great, and I like his warrior-nerd personality. But I understand that not everyone likes his delivery.

I am my own best reviewer of what I will buy. The balance of ergonomics, steel, materials, and most importantly manufacturer is what dictates where my dollars go. If I buy a knife I end up not liking, I will usually sell it to someone that will enjoy it. I used to watch NnF, but when the videos drag on for about an hour, and have about 4 minutes of actual talk about the knife rather than the good ole "POU", and then the "Duuude", "Tactical" flow like wine, it's time to move along.

You really don't need to many reviews on the Tenacious ....It's a great knife .
super lock up ,feels great in hand ,real good edc size ... the price is stupid cheap as well

Between BFC and YouTube, you never have to rely on one person's reviews. (This is also what makes the magazines obsolete.) You can get the reviews of dozens of people. If they all agree, they're probably right. Considering the reputation of the knives you're looking at, there's no question about the quality of the knives - the only question is whether you will like them, and no one else's review will be able to tell you that.

The only reviews I trust are here:

BladeForums.com > Knife Specific Discussion > Knife Reviews & Testing
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=718

I trust them because I know the fellas who are doing them, having read their posts for several years.

.

I trust and value the opinions from most of the members right here on blade forums. Everything else gets taken with a grain of salt.

cutlerylover has some great reviews, but its only his style that makes him better than others. But that doesnt mean I value his opinion over others, i take every review that weighs both pros and cons equally. If a video is review is purely positive or purely negative I am generally more sceptical though. And another random note is I always ignore comments on jimping and handle texture because they dont matter to me much.

Clicky the link in my sig line.

same here.
although i prefer to find out as much as i can about one particular knife from reading up on it here and watching youtube reviews.

Warrior-nerd personality.

Excuse me a second....

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Warrior-nerd. That was very well put. Not meant as disrespect to Nutnfancy at all, but that pretty much was most poetic description of him that I've heard.

That said, I watch pretty much all of his knife reviews, and I trust his opinion quite a lot. And as far as his accuracy, I have never seen/heard him state anything as fact that wasn't. If you're considering a Tenacious, his review is right on. I bought one because of that review, and I love it! It is exactly as he says it is.

I've been a member here for a few years for a reason - this forum has some of the best info available.

Also - a lot of times - a rep from the manufacturer or the actual maker will weigh in.

I will watch videos - but mostly to see how the knife looks in someones hand, or if they do a comparison with another popular model knife that I am familiar with.

I've watched many of Nutnfancys videos - I just don't agree with his edc mantra. Mine is very different. Weight, size, blade length - we don't see eye to eye on these issues.

I do like watching our own Ankersons videos where he actually puts a knife to use.
