I thought I would post some news about JK Knives. First off, Connie is leaving Target after 4 years of working there. They took away hours, which means no more health insurance, and cut the $1 extra early shift pay, so now she is making what she started at 4 years ago. She applied at Walmart (at least they carry Buck knives there), and will be working the 10 pm - 7 am shift, with a minimum of 32 hours a week. No insurance for a year, so we both need to be real carefull (as though the prescriptions cost each month won`t kill us!)

The good news is that we are working together on a fun project that I will be offering here soon, for well under $100. I think you guys will enjoy this one. More about this will be coming soon.
 
Congrats to the Boss for the move.

WalMart will be more stabil in terms of the seasonal sales since it also sells groceries. She will excel there.

The Boss works hard, getting up super early and everything. I really hope she enjoys her new workplace.

A collaboration project??!?!? Kitchen Witch survival kit maybe?

Sorry to hear about the Missus's troubles at work, but glad to hear she is moving on (definitely a wise choice). Best wishes to both of you, and here's to a bright future in both business and employment.
 
first, it's cool that i am now part of such a closeknit forum that you feel comfortable sharing that kind of personal info with the group. i was definitely struck by that.

now, with that said....i'm sorry to hear about the unexpected change. never a fun thing to deal with. BUT...i am sure it will all work out for the best. keep on keeping on, my friend.

We got a bit of good news this afternoon. Connie`s test results came in, things look pretty good! :thumbup:
