Been too quiet hare, so I thought I would post what I`ve been working on this week.

First up are the 5 Hawks I`m working on.

Next are a pair of Nessmuks. These are for the same customer I sent the black handle CB Neckmuk to about a week ago. This CB Neckmuk is 3/16" thick. The other one is a larger version of the Neckmuk, with a 5" blade. It is 1/4" thick. These will be very interesting when they are done, check back in about a week and you will see what I am talking about. I`m going to be offering the larger Nessmuk in 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" versions.

Well That settles that, put me down for the large Nessmuk when your ready. 1/8" , torched oak like my
little one. They both look great.

Email me when you get time. Cost will be $170, and it could be done in early November.

So how are the hawks coming along?

Im looking forward to pitures of the large Neckmuk. Sounds like it will be one hefty blade.

Heat treated today. I`ll start cleaning them up Friday, and putting handles on. Be making sheaths next week. Then I`ve got to get a second mortgage to pay for shipping them!

I can't wait to get mine out in the woods. I got tied up last night so I mailed the payment this morning.

A little update.
grunt soldier - handles glueing on
busterbones - handles glueing on
ManOfMisery - liners glueing to handles, handles will glue on tomorrow

John, those two muks look nice! Question, it sure looks like they have sabergrinds on them, are you doing those now?

No, I just never grind all the way before heat treat. I am doing flat grinds now, that All Purpose is 3/16" thick with a flat grind. I am working on my saber grinds to perfect them.

update pics on the mini and medium Nessies pretty please...

Nothing new on those except they have been heat treated. I have to finish the hawks by Monday, then there will be some more progress on these.
