what seam sealent to use for silnylon?

I have a 8 by 10 silnylon tarp, and I was wondering what the best sealent would be to use on the seams.

I'm not sure about the best sealent, but I was curious what brand tarp do you have. I'm wanting an 8'x10' silnylon tarp but can't make up my mind on which brand to go with. I've looked at Equinox, Oware, and Etowah. I want the best quality I can find for the least amount of money! Any suggestions.

I don't know what the best is, but I've had pretty good results with SilNet.

I'm pretty certain you can make your own sealant using a mixture of regular ol' silicon and denatured alcohol. Do a search over at backpacker.com. I know the question has been answered over there.

i looked around to find my tarp and the best prices were for the equinox ones on campmor.com. the 8 by 10 ran about 75 dollars, ithink that included S&H.

Silnet is the only commercial one I know of intended for silnylon.
