what sharpener(s)?

I have a Griptilian and a Ka-Bar Fighting/Utility (both combo edge) and I want to get a new sharpener. At present I am only using a whetstone but as my knife collection expands I want to be able to take much better care of them. I was thinking about getting the Sharpmaker, and probably a better whetstone. What do people think would be the best sharpening system for these two knives, considering price and also considering I'm kind of a beginner as far as maintenance goes.

Definitely get a Sharpmaker. It's nearly idiot-proof, and you can easily take care of those serrations with it.
