What sheath for a Boss Street – leather v. kydex

I am partial to ‘Chuddy Bear Leather’ sheaths, however I think a CBL sheath might be a little thick and/or heavy for EDCing my Boss Street (I could very well be wrong) – ‘kydex’ may be a better option. Can some fellow ‘Hogs & piglets’ help recommend a durable/well-made, light-weight yet resilient sheath for my Boss Street (or recommend a sheath-maker)? Pictures of any Boss Street sheaths would be greatly appreciated as would any comments on leather vs. kydex sheaths for the Boss Street! The Boss Street is a replacement for my ex-Strider SMF, FWIW.

jeff law, aka rainwalker, is fantastic with both leather and kydex, and is great at making low profile sheaths for both IWB and pocket carry. he did up pocket sheaths for my meaner, NEDC and culti. steelnut does amazing kydex work, too, and we mustn't forget david brown. take a look at their respective work and see whose style you like best. you can also ask in the sheathmaker subforum.

I carry my BOSS Street inverted, edge forward in a gray Mashed Cat Kydex sheath. No worries on retention. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Here's a David Brown sheath with Tek-Lok. Works well for me, very secure lockup. :thumbup:
