What is your preference for double bit sheaths? I just want one that will last.

Makes me want to make a double bit sheath making tutorial, but im all out of double bit axe to sheath... im swamped with life, but anyways, heres some reference picture of my double bit sheath, as it happen, i just tested the smaller one today as i had to cut down a rotten tree, goes off and on without an itch, never understood the need to slide the sheath down the whole lenght of the shaft, seem like a waste of time and effort to me...

its a fold over the top sheath fastened with rivets, real simple really, once you figure it out in your mind.

Shameless plug, how ive made the handle for the smalle collins double bit axe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXPtJ52vX_A

Awesome guys. I have made stuff like this before, but i really do not have the tools to put the snaps on properly.

Cord, leather lace, whatever. No snaps required. Make a couple "large" sized masks and then you can just swap them out depending on which axe you're using.

Wow. I've seen pictures of that axe but still get stuck looking at it when it pops up.

Hmmm... Those two things together... I am sure someone could help with that...

Someone without a sheath maybe? :)

When I get the inclination I just make one.

So I'm just saying it's pretty clear, you have to make your own, and we'll be needing pictures to grade your assignment.

Years ago when I drove around in a green PU, we used some old water hose split down the middle and cut to length, held in place with some old inner tube.
