maybe it was a thread like this before, but I was absent for a month, and I'm lazy to dig it up...
so, while I'm waiting for "my" number being ready, I would like to have a plan what sheath to get for the newcomer.
I really like kydex, and I have some for my other Busse's from Mashedcat, DavidBrown, DavidE, and Oku, but I would like something more "exclusive", but still on the VERY functional side...

what are your plans?

thanks, Peter

Chuddy Bear! Very reasonably priced, top notched craftmanship, functional design, maticulous attention to detail, quick turn around time considering all are custom made. Kydex for a satin blade? Hmmmm.

They all do a good job but I just grabbed some of that Gator from Dewayne at armoralleather and its stunning!

Our newest sheathmaker, Richard Holloman, may end up with a "sample" from me to make a sheath for the LE. If so, I imagine he could make a few others. If you're looking for something different, he has a unique style, although pricier than some others' work. He's got a new fusion idea I haven't seen yet that sounds "special," but can also make pure leather sheaths.

George,

Hit me on the hip when you get any info from Mr. Holloman. I may go that way too because I feel Dwayne, Mike and Chuck will be pretty backed up.

I have just sold and shipped an SFNO LE to Richard (Rawhide Leather here on BF). I, too, look forward to his new fusion design, but his current style is pretty tempting.

I am going with leather on this one.
I have my order in with Dwayne at http://www.armoralleather.com/ for a standard with LE accents and silver snaps in dark brown.

+1

I'm going with a Dundee Rig for my new SFNO that I can re-purpose for my FFBM and Chopweiler danglers. I love Dwayne's leather, especially the dark brown.

Good to know. Please post a pic of what he comes up with for you, as well as what options you end up discussing with him. I've seen his previous work, but still have some trouble visualizing what his Busse sheaths would look like.
