What sheath to use for special 110?

I am trying to finish up a special project 110 of mine, and am trying to decide what kind of sheath to get for it. I have one of the heavy cordura ones that come with the new 110s, and that might be fine, but I am really looking at some of the customs like those made by vess, lifter, and G2.

Anyone have a favorite sheath for the 110? Horizontal, vertical, open top?

I am thinking really hard about a G2, maybe horizontal.

Hi schiesz,

I'd recommend that you get one of Jack's (Rudderjt on this forum) open top rig's!!! I tried out the one that went around with Dave's Rubber Bucky 110 and had to have one. I've had a 110 in it on my side every day. He can and will make it to your spec's and the price is right.

I have two of G2's horizontal for my custom shop 110's and one for my BG42 112 they're excellent in every respect and hold the knife very securely.I higly recommend Gary,in fact I have one on the way for my caly 3 at this time.

Ok, i've contacted Jack and Gary at this point. Different styles, and i'm pretty sure I like both of them.

Any other suggestions?

I only have an email address for rudderjt, and I don't know if he wants that posted. I'm sure he'll contact you if you post here that you want info.

Thank-you,any preference on makers?I think I just want similar to factory, just better quality.

All the ones I am considering are closely fitted and open top, not at all like the factory. You would have to check with these guys to see if they make ones similar to the factory sheath.

Ok, I have a rudderjt sheath on the way for my two dot, and I need to finish up my 25th anniversary 110 to send to Gary Graley to fit a sheath for.

I'll be sure to post pics when I get them all done.
