What should I get?

I'm going to be getting a new knife soon, and I want it to be something I can carry with me. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a CRKT knife that has a carson flipper and a BM42. Where I am it is illegal to carry balisongs, so the BM42 would be strictly for recreation, but I could just use my china cheapie folder to carry. I've got a Jag copy, but I need a new bali. So... should I buy the CRKT and just buy a real Jaguar too, or should I get the BM42?

Congratulations on finding the best little wh..I mean forum on the 'net. The 42 is state of the art in production butterflies and you should get one for each hand!!!!!!

The 42 is so awesome I am at a loss for words to describe how happy I am that I bought one.

I'm debating which CRKT I should pair with my Buck Crosslock for everyday carry and use, I've narrowed it down to a few but I'm still not sure, I really need to take a look at Spydercos and BMs knives 'cause I might find something there I might love.

For everyday carry, I'd suggest you consider the BM AFCK. And, if you shop around, you can still find 'em with the old "Bali-Song" logo. Very cool! Seriously, the AFCK is a great everyday user.

Now, if you're serious about balisongs, a BM42 is a good investment. It costs about five or six times a much as a Jag, but it'll easily outlast ten Jags and a bag of nails and you'll like it a lot better along the way.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going with the BM42

The reason for this is that the handle on my Jag copy snapped in half. I want to get a titanium handle that won't break. I can still carry the BM42, just not concealed.
