Im looking to add some INFI to my collection but dont know exactly what i want. I know i want an outdoors blade. Something good for backpacking, camping, kayaking, ect. How should i introduce Busse to my collection?

oh, then i'm going to say that you should wait and save more money. Your options in the $250 range is VERY limited

Another $100 will get you a TGLB from Busse directly, in the configuration you want. I'd also suggest a SARGE-7 but you'd at least another $150.

In that price range you are looking at small blades. 3 inches. Used to be, you could find all kinds of Game Wardens, Active Duties and Sus Scrofas for that price.

Add 100, and you are looking at my recommendation.

B11. Light, super great chopping for the weight, and comfy handle.

For $250 you can get some nice steel. A skeleton key makes a nice neck knife. A BAD is a great EDC. As is a Culti and Game Warden.

Budget is $250

If you were willing to spend about $20 more you could have got a Pork Shank with micarta scales in the last Ganza.

Some blades are a magnum bear cub, SAR 3, Basic 4, or a Boss Street.

That's for Busse though.

$250 can get some nice blades from Swamp Rat or Scrap Yard.

If I had it to do all over again....Hummmm....The very first Busse that I'd want the mailman to hand over to me would be the Team Gemini LB.
I just love that knife.
Save up some $$$ for a little while longer.

Call the shop for a Boss Jack:cool::thumbup:

Now that it's been mentioned, i will second the Swamp Rat option

For 200 you can get one of these

For 260ish you can get both of these

Good stuff.

You won't be dissapointed with offerings from Swamp Rat, or Scrap Yard!

You could find a Dogfather, or if you look for a while, possibly a Battle Rat

Both of those would be excellent large choppers!!!!!

Pork Shanks at the Ganzaa could be had for 258.

But i agree with others here, save another 100 and go with the new Busse TGLB.

I justify paying the higher price for Busses because you can probably use them awhile and sell them for about same or more if you ever need the money (at least, if you get them initially from Busse).

This seems to be working at home: "But honey, since I can always sell it for what I paid! I'm effectively getting a FREE knife!"
