I currently own a para 2, sage 1, 551 griptillian and i have no idea what direction i would like my next purchase to be in. I manage to get a few ideas but then i convince myself i like something else more before i can pull the trigger on it. Any and all help/suggestions and reasoning behind is appreciated.

zero tolerance 550? Kershaw guy has some good prices:thumbup:but really what will it be used for? Price range? Materals?

What do you typically look for in knives? From the looks of it, you like midsize fine cutters. A Gayle Bradley could be a good option if you don't mind non-stainless. M4 steel has a very uniform particle distribution, and can take an extremely fine edge. If you want to go a little larger, a ZT 0561 is a fantastic knife with great steel. Very smooth, very tough, but it does take up a good amount of pocket real estate.

I suppose a good question is this: what is it you find you are dissatisfied with in your current knives? What features or aspects are you looking for?

I am looking to round out my modest collection with different opening and locking means, materials, designs etc I am not a hard user, but more of an edc'er that values quality. budget 130

When I see AO I think Kai. There are several ZT knives in that price range with assisted opening, so I'd suggest checking those out. If you're lucky, you can snag a spyderco citadel or embassy for less than 200.

It's not super easy to find quality assisted knives, in my experience. They tend to cater to mall ninjas, and have the price and quality levels to match.
