What size ferro rod for BM 162 leather sheath?

Good day fellow knife nerds,
Does anyone know what size/diameter ferro rod fits well in the leather sheath that comes with the Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter? The factory sheath has a built-in leather loop to hold a rod, and I'd like to buy something online to slide in this hole. I see options of 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" etc etc i dont want one that's so thin it'll slide out, nor one so fat it'll stretch the leather and get stuck. I know BM sells a rod specifically for this sheath, but i'm more interested in 3rd party options..

I recommend getting a set of drill bits and trying them until you find the size that fits the way you want, then looking for a ferro rod that size.
