I am ordering a new furnace today and was wondering is the 14" going to be big s? when it says 14" I can put up to a 14" blade in there ? Thanks for all the help

That is usually the full depth, the thing to realize is if the handle is 5" you are limited to a 9" blade, I suggest something bigger to give you more flex later if you want to do something like a chopper or bowie.

I use the 13-1/2" evenheat,I can get a 13" blade in it if I put it in diagionally. But it works great for me as most of my blades are in the 6-10" length.I can do about 98% of my stuff and anything longer than 12" I just send out.

You need to allow for envelope size and keep the tips away from the coils at the back. We sell the EvenHeat 22.5 model at least 10:1 over anything else. That allows for 6" handle - 14" blade - plus envelope. The 22.5" is also nice because the power for that model jumps from 3120 watts to 3600 watts.

Thats a good size for almost anything you will ever need.

I have the 14" paragon. You can make anything up to a cutting comp sized blade. If I made lots of choppers, i'd have gone bigger but 90% of what I make is fine with 14"

i have the 18 and wish i had a long thin one to go with it for the longer kitchen knives and short swords
my next kiln will be 4x6 or 6x6 by 36

22.5" Evenheat here. I don't want to let anything get too close to the coils and overheat.
