What size makers mark stamp?

I've inquired about getting a steel stamp with my last name to mark my knives. I will probably put my mark in the ricasso area. Is the 1/16" size stamp the one to go with or should I go larger like say 1/8"? Thanks

I contacted www.steelhandstamps.com Buckeye Engraving Inc. a division of Raschke Engraving Inc. I saw their ad in Blade mag. They quoted prices of $75.00 to $125.00 depending on what you wanted.

ive been trying to design a small logo for my knives, because ive been selling alot of bowies to my confederate freinds! my intials are M H J and i found a way to connect them all into one symbol kinda like J.R.R.Tolkiens logo. i dont know though, my last name is justice, so i was thinking of maybe a set of scales, and a sword logo, like on my family crest. any opinions guys? intials or family crest?
