What size multi-tool?

Hello, guys,
While there are a lot of discussions on comparing different brants of multi-tool manufacturers I was thinking what size an ideal multi-tool should be? Small multi-tools are easy to carry, while large ones have more powerful pliers. And I think the main reason people buy multitools is because of pliers.
Therefore my question is what do you think is the best size for a multi-tool in general, when you take it for travelling, camping, hunting, fishing, walking in a city or countryside, in a car, etc?
So far it was only once in my life when I really thought it would be useful to have a multi-tool, when my car broke down and I needed to unscrew a bolt. Now I intend to buy a bike. I saw ads how some cool guys fix their bikes using Leatherman, but can you really do it? Can multi-tools handle most of work on motorbikes?
Regards,

You could go small, such as the LM juice line, BUT the pliers are not as strong as the larger models and the tools do not lock.

Off-hand, I would say that a meduim/large tool such as the LM wave or charge (get the charge or the new-locking-wave) is the best all-around choice.

BUT, If you need this for a motorbike, the CRUNCH is a compact (same as wave, but thinner) tool with locking pliers and a few locking essential drivers.

See all these in detail at:

I have all three, of course, and I EDC the CRUNCH and a SAK (tools on the crunch are limited). I take the juice when I want a small tool only, and the wave is my backup for home.

Sure, there are other brands, but I highly recommend looking in detail at LM and especially the Crunch for your bike needs.
