I just got a kershaw skyline an its really stiff i need to take it apart an oil it, an the linner is so stiff i cant close it with one hand. If you no the torx size or how to loosen the liner it wud help alot. Thx

I just checked them. Screws for pocket clip and scales are T6, and the pivot screw is T8.

I got a t6 an the screws are fine but the actual torx tip srtiped an is all round now. Is it i just got sum really crapy torx or am i just a idiot.

Home Depot sells a nice Torx set with a bunch of bits, cheep. Ihave one in my shop and one in house.

Well that's strange because I'm 100% sure that it's a T10.

All of my other Kershaws are T6 with a T8 pivot. But the Skyline is a T10 pivot.

It's very possible that Kershaw has used two different pivot screws over the course of production.

The 2 I have are t-10 on the pivot. Looks like there could be 2 different size pivots used on the Skylines.

If you can get the kit from Home Depot as gull wing suggested, you'll probably have the right size.
