Does anyone know what size torx driver it takes to remove a pocket clip from a Benchmade 940? I am trying to put on a new one, but I can't find a driver small enough. I tried NAPA, Auto Zone and two local hardware stores. If I have to order one, I need to know the right size. Thanks in advance, Dwain

go to lowes or home depot tool section small torx driver bitts go in handle

about 5 or 6 bucks

Apparently, the T-6 is used mostly for computer and telephone equipment so keep that in mind when looking for them. They sell them at Radioshack in a 14 piece kit made by Kronos which has both the T-6 and T-8. I have also found T-6 individual screw drivers at Ace Hardware made by General in the telephone/electronics stuff. I even found one in another kit in one of those any tool for $5.49 bins which had both the T-6 and T-8. Sears also carries them as individual screw drivers. I have tried them all except for the Sears ones. What I will say is none of them held up very well for my Buck Mini-Strider because Buck uses blue loctite on their screws. Though my Benchmade Mini-Griptillian was fine and didn't ruin the tips.

Home Depot's Husky multi-torx will stand up to Buck's thread-locker. That one works much better than the black and green handled Craftsman torx drivers. It'll be more than adequate for Benchmade's knives.
