I have been lucky enough to hang out at Scott's shop. I think the tv show Hoarders has been by to film his multitool collection
(just kidding Scott, his shop is like a candy store). He's also had some neat slipjoints, one of which started me off on my Great Eastern Cutlery obsession, a 73 Scout. I've since picked up a pretty diverse selection of slipjoints, with a variety of patterns. Lots of stockmans and trappers. My most recent favorite has been the Great Eastern Tidioute Ben Hogan and the single blade Great Eastern North Field 23, the big brother to the 73 model. I've been most interested in slipjoints, and bushcraft/camp knives for the past couple years.
What slipjoints do you carry every day? Do you like to pair your Gossman knife with a slipjoint when you're on the trail, or with your Gossman you use for EDC? I usually have a little Case peanut on me, and most of the time a Victorinox pioneer. I prefer to bring along either my Gossman Polaris or mini Kephart, and my Victorinox Farmer when I'm enjoying time in the woods. I used to pair off a SAK with my old PSK for working around the property at home.
