What small fixed blades come with a good secure sheath?

I carry my Izula 2 in my front pocket often in its factory sheath. They look cheap but are actually built to be stronger than Kydex because the injection molded sheaths that ESEE uses are not subject to damage in extreme hot and cold like Kydex is.

Bradshaw blades makes some nice small blades and very secure kydex sheaths.

The AG Russell Hunters Scalpel, Bird and Trout, and Deer Hunter have locking sheaths with a thumb-release. I haven't found any other fixed blade knives that are more secure.

Many small traditional hunting knives have thick leather sheaths with snaps and can be fairly secure as well. For example, I am quite impressed with the high quality and secure sheath that comes with the imported KaBar hunting knives. Ditto the Light Hunters from Queen.

Becker knives have nice secure sheaths, but their smaller knives are only slip-in sheaths; only the larger knives have snaps. Ditto with ESEE knives. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

Buck 102, but the sheath is bulky. I made my own with a strong snap tab.

Absolutely. Durable leather and very secure. I recommend the Pathfinder and Woodsman if looking for a small fixed blade. Built with the same materials and quality as the famous 119 and 120 models.

I feel custom makers have a huge advantage over factory sheaths.

With a ton of very talented makers and well priced offerings, I've always advocated going that route.

I'm a fan of Bob Dozier's fixed blades and his horizontal belt sheath is a marvel.

The Kabar Becker BK-24 with a custom sheath. Not a fan of the factory sheath, but the knife is sound.

I don't have many fixed blades, but the 102 woodsman has a very secure sheath. I do interior remodeling in foreclosed homes when not on new construction...anything comes my way. Some days i drive from the store and back, others I climb over piles of rubble and up on ladders and in tight spaces whatever is scoped for the day. It stays in it's sheath no problem. I took some time at the place I got it to be sure I could put it back after use and secure the snap easily as well.

Tops Ferret. The sheath is very secure since it is considered a neck knife by the manufacturer, which means the retention is very stout and it's thick kydex.

Cold Steel Super Edge comes with a Secure-Ex sheath.

Nice keyring knife.

I'm sorry, I do not mean to disrespect you, but the Secure-Ex sheaths are crap: they dull the knife.

Yes, the glass impregnated plastic sheaths may dull your knife even sliding it in and out of the sheath. That is the case with the Kabar Becker neck knives. I understand this is not a problem with kydex.
