Looks like a current production "SOG Tech" but without the brass crossguard, the whole andle is just rubber/kraton whatever. The blade is 7" But it is not the "SEAL" model no serrations and different finish (looked gun blued) finish has since wore off. Sheath is basic black curdura.

Any info would be appreciated

Is there any "SOG" stamps or markings anywhere on the blade? Sounds to me like it is maybe some kind of knock-off.

Hi Geoff,

You're talking about the Nite Tech; A stealthy version of the SOG Tech II. It has a one-piece Kraton handle (no brass cross guard) and a blued, 7" carbon steel blade in the same dimensions of the Tech II (or SEAL Knife). I don't know how many were made, but not too many. If it is in a good condition, it is likely a collector's item. The other "Nite" knife was the Nite Tiger (a blued version of the Tigershark).

Thanks for the question. Take care.

Thanks

Unfortunatly the condition is far from collector grade. All the bluing has been removed. Can SOG re-blue or beadblast this knife for me? other then that the knife is perfect served me through several years at Fort Bragg. Managed to keep it from becoming a drop zone MIA.
