What sort of grinders are used for production factory knives?

Presumably it isn't a "2x72", and I wouldn't think it'd be a belt grinder at all would it? For example If I walked into an asian factory churning out cold steel knives what puts the bevel on those?

I visited a couple of small knife factories in Seki, Japan—and the answer is...a bunch of different grinders. The biggest factory was MCUSTA. They use everything from CNC Mills, expanding wheel belt grinders (looked like around ten inches), regular belt grinders of various sizes, and horizontal stone grinders for sharpening. Hattori (who makes the Hattori HD, KD, etc...) was using what looked to be a 4"x36" or some metric equivalent. But he also had a bunch of other grinders, some belt and some solid stone. Master Kiku's shop used stone and disk grinders on their side in a unique grinding style.

He also had two TW90s that were being used horizontally and a couple of other belt grinders, mostly for handles I presume.
