Hey guys, this is my first post on Blade Forums, so excuse me if I mess something up :D. My dad stumbled across his old Spyderco he had a while back, he has no clue what the model is, and neither do I. Can anyone tell me which model this is? Pics were taken with my Galaxy S3 so sorry if the quality is not great. Thanks guys and galls.

I thought it was the spyderco worker also, but the only worker's I could find were the ones with the swedge on the spine...

My dad said the blade has never been reprofiled, probably hardly even sharpened. Also the blade has a very slight recurve to it, not a wharncliffe.

If it was reprofiled, you might see a bit of a gap where the tip was shortened when the knife is closed. There's a lot of similarity in the shape of the steel around the spyderhole.

I think your right, everything looks exactly the same when i compare it side by side to the computer screen lol, besides the lefty version in the post has the pocket clip mounting holes on the other side (obviously).

May be it, then? The Hunter is listed as having had a 2 3/4" blade. That I found at spydercosource.

Obviously i cant read a leatherman ruler very well. cutting edge is 2 1/2 ish and full blade legnth from tip to start of handle is 2 3/4 ish. Thanks a bunch!

It's the original version of the Hunter, before the added extra belly to the blade.

I think the reason it looks a little "off" is that it has been used and sharpened quite a bit.

Definitely a Hunter. The lack of blade steel markings means it was manufactured somewhere between roughly 1987, when they started beveling the perimeter of the handles, and 1992, when they added blade steel names to the tang stamps.
