What Spyderco Should I Ask For For Christmas?

I'm newly 15 years old and my funds are limited to me buying 2 or 3 high-end production folders a year, so opportunities like Christmas and my Birthday are few and far between to receive a really good Spyderco without spending my own money. I've been thinking about a number of ones---the Veile2, the Yojimbo, the SpyKer, the Szabofly, the Ronin, the Swick, etc. I already have a Mini Manix, a Chinook II, a Police, a Military (S30V, G10), a Poliwog, a Dragonfly, and a Dodo, so avoid using those as suggestions. Anything else is fair game. :D Thanks for your help and your opinions.
 
How about a Waved Endura or a Paramilitary? You would have fun with the Wave if you are careful. It can work real fast. Kevin

Well lets see, the Szabofly is hard to get at the moment due to manufacturering problems so that is out. The Spyker and Swick were limited runs that are fairly unpopular, but you never know when the supply will suddenly dry up. The Ronin is DC'd but supplies seem to be ok at the moment...prices will never get any lower than right now though. The Yojimbo is going to be discontinued, Spyderco has known that for some time so the chances of a glut (meaning lower than normal prices) is slim. The Viele2? doesn't seem to be popular and might get DC'd this year IMO, but my guesses for what will be DC'd is about 18% accurate.;)

Really with what little info you are giving us, most people will just pick their favorite knife and tell you to get that one. :p

Are you hoping to have something most likely to increase in value? Just something cool? What is cool to you? Do you really like or dislike certain features? What do you plan to use it for?

Caly3, full size Persian (it is discontinied, but still can be found) , Kopa Apple Coral. These are my top choices.

MY personal chouice would be a civilian.
The average consumer wish and average knives would be
Waved Endure/Delica
Caly 3
Sharpmaker
A Paramilli would be nice as well. If you like the design, go for an ATR. I love mine.
 
I second the request for a Native and a sharpmaker...

The Kiwi is really cool, especially with the amber bone scales. Plus you can use it amongst polite company without causing anyone to faint. I don't have a Kopa but I've heard good things, and for similar reasons.
 
given his age i`d say something discrete would be the go. hence my suggestion of delica or native. itt also depends on how generous his parents are willing to be :)
 
If you like full flat grinds I'd look at a new PE Caly 3. A great EDC for everything except really extreme use/abuse. It'd also fill a nice place between your larger folders and your smaller folders.

A waved Delica or Endura would be a lot of fun too. I have both and trust me, they are a blast to "play" with. :D

And if you don't have a Sharpmaker yet I highly recommend one. Hands down the best sharpening system I have ever used. I love mine. I've used mine for years now and it's still as functional as the day I got it.

by the way i had the opportunity to handle a black yojimbo , so if you`re gonna ask for a knife for christmas i`d say ask for that , or an adventura
 
Definitely a Waved D4 or E4.

Other than that, a standard D4 or E4.

I'm probably going to beg my wife for a D4 :)
 
I do NOT have a Dodo or a Yojimbo, so those would be my first choices. I would also look real hard at the Plain edge Dallara w/VG-10. Don't forget the new Hossom fixed blades are coming soon and that will open a entire new bag of worms...
