There doesn't seem to be a way to sort by lock type on the website so why not ask here. :)
Some older models are remade with the ball bearing lock to it seems?

Don't forget the D'Allara
I like the looks of it, seems discontinued though.
The ball bearing lock looks like a real ball unlike the one on the Manix 2.

Seems Spyderco doesn't produce many ball bearing lock knives (yet).

The lock on the Manix 2 is basically the ball bearing lock except with a polymer cage around it. The cage provides no strength to the lock but allows an easier grasp of the ball bearing. It looks different because of the cage but it functions the same way.

I would suspect that the plain old ball bearing may have had some issues, hence the move to the caged ball bearing. When it comes to things that have been done on knives Spyderco has already been there and done that.

Manix 2 and P'Kal are, I think, the only CBBL locks currently. The "issue" with the regular BBL was that, obviously, the ball can be pretty low on traction under a lot of circumstances. The "cage" helps with that, at the expense of slightly greater thickness and a smaller ball.
