I am looking to get a new spydie. Here are the ones that I either owned or have tried:
PM 2
Sage 1
Manix 2 (both g10 and lw)
Endura 4
Delica 4
Tenacious
Dragonfly (both vg10 and h1 se)
Native 5 lightweight

Here is what I like in my knife:

- rust resistance (pretty humid where I live)
- straight edge unless h1 steel
- lightweight (less that 4.5 ounces is nice)
- I like the handle to be not be too much lighter than the blade (didn't like the saber ground endura or lw manix 2 for this reason)
- Grippy handles (not a deal breaker)
- endura is too big for my likes so size needs to be smaller than that.
- budget right now is $120 or less

I have looked at the centofante 3. The GB2 (seems like it may rust on me). Getting another delica in a cool color (I have a grey one...why did I choose grey). Or maybe a pm2 in blk/blk.

Some much Dragonfly to collect or try to... ^^

I order yesterday, 2 purple, 1 for my girlfriend !(1st spydi) and as it is a sprint run I take one for me as well.

May be you can try the Caly 3 but it's 15 grs more than the Native 5.

Caly or UK Pen Knife are great in the hand !

If you want different different then the ARK seems to be a real hit with those who have them.

Yeah I have considered this but I think I am gonna wait for a serrated edge. Just because the edge retention of h1 is greatly enhanced with a se

What is the difference between the chaparral and the sage 1?

The Chap is just a little smaller than the Sage, and a back lock. I really like mine.

Rust resistance can be a very subjective thing. Being in a humid area may be quite different than someone that needs a knife for daily saltwater fishing. Most good stainless steels (s30v etc) will do just fine if wiped down every now and then with an oil rag. A small amount of maintenance will go a long way.

You may want to try a Domino with XHP blade. I don't have mine in front of me right now, but think it has a similar cutting area to the Delica, but a wide leaf FFG blade. Great combination handle, titanium, g10, carbon fiber. And amazingly smooth action.

The sprint run Delica/HAP40 looks like a pick.

If you don't like it then I bet it's a quick flip.

Spyderco aqua salt. What do you guys think about it. I am thinking about maybe getting a tough fixed blade that will stand up to water.

Chaparral has a 2mm blade... You said you are considering the Centofante3, coincidentally these are the two best slicers in Spyderco's lineup along with the Stretch2.

Chap is also a little smaller and is a lockback.

SO, Chap1, Centofante3, and Stretch2... Take your pick!

Spyderco Stretch - 3.5", 3.4oz, VG10, FRN, $85~$90

The Stretch is about .8" shorter than the Endura but blade is only .25" shorter. Handle size is closer to Manix2.

Sounds like you might want to look at the Salt 1.

Tough, rustproof, light, stout, chainsaw-like capabilities, ultra easy to sharpen. Great sheath.

Now I'm looking for a satin one, so sad they've been discontinued!!!

Oh, and I can also recommend the Dragonfly, the ARK and the Salt series (especially Pacific Salt, and Salt 1)

ARK and Aqua Salt for fixed.

Dragonfly and Salt I for ultra light carry, and awesome cutting power in really small, lightweight package...

Pacific Salt for all-around, main EDC blade.

Slice, saw, cut, pierce, stab, chop, hack, pry (yup), scrape and dice with it. Don't care about dirt, rust, or stains. Don't worry about heavy weight pulling you pants down.

Just wash and dry when you get home, and back to the pocket!

I think you can tell I know some things about H1, and I am sure you'll like any of them!

Tough as they come. Will last many, many years. And less than $80 on most places! Why not give it a try?

If you have never had a stretch get one!!! You will absolutely love it! I carried it exclusively for quite a while. I have a lot of knives and still cherish it, and carry it. Please do yourself a favor and get one. Mine is in super blue.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna go with a stretch for now. Although, the ark and Aqua salt are now high on my list to get

1. Wait for the Delica sprint run in HAP4
2. Manix 2 in S110V - a great deal on a great steel
3. Salt version of the Delica (Salt 1) - pick either straight or serrated edge.
4. PM2 black on black, or wait for S110 version of PM2
5. Any of the Sage knives you don't already have
