I have a Buck 110 that is probably 25 years old but is still as dependable as new. What a great knife and all time classic.
I was wondering what metal is used in the blade. I read somewhere that it is 420HC? I'm not familiar with that designation, so can someone tell me more about it or give me something to compare it to.
Anyway, I'd just like to know for sure what metal is used in this blade. Although it's a classic hollow ground design, it has never chipped, dented, etc. although it's been used extensively. And, that's why it's so popular.
Thanks!
