What steal is the laredo made of?

I've seen it say it's made of sk5 and 01. Which one is it it?

Steel and only one it.

Both. The newest production is O1 but most places are still selling the previous SK5 model.

SK5 O-1 and San Mai III.

SK5 and O-1 are carbon steels, and SM3 is laminated stainless and much more expensive.

With the O-1 coming out you should be able to get a good deal on the SK5 models as dealers clear their stock.

EDIT: I'll just add Carbon V to this list.
