what steel does buck use for cabela knives?

i have a cabelas knife made by buck i think its an older knife it has the stacked leather handle with aluminum butt cap does anyone know what blade steel they use?

Maybe forged "425" stainless like in the Buck 184?

When was it made and what steel did Cabela request? Cabela's Alaskan Guide series of Buck knives are made with S30V steel. At the same time Cabela sells Buck knives with 420HC. So it depends.
