What steel does the milwawkee fastback use

I have been wandering what steel it uses and hope this place can tell me what does the fastback uses. From what I can tell its not a very good steel. I am still very new to knife steels btw so please help.

Welcome. You are correct...they use the "not very good kind" of steel. Mystery cheap steel. But if the steel does what you need it to do...there is nothing wrong with it.

Typically (not always), when tool makers, gun makers, etc etc get into the knife making business, the results are not very good. The products are just an excuse to put the logo on something..
