My Google skills are lacking today and could not find a good answer.

What type of stainless steel do guys use for liners on a liner lock?
Or should I go with Ti?

Well that makes it easy. If it's good enough for J.Doyle it's good enough for me :D
Thickness of Ti liner for a folder that has a 3"-3.5" blade?

I don't know that I'm any sort of measuring stick. I'm just a rural country dude making stuff in his garage.......at about the speed of molasses in January flowing uphill. :)

I like around .060" for liners, but agree with big John.....there's no set rules on it.

I like 055 to 062" but there's no real rule.

Then 030 to 040 for clips .

Thanks Kuraki!

Lol...that's why they look so good. I feel your pain John. I'm not any faster, glacier speed.

Hey guys great info,if you didn't use titanium what's would be your next choice?

I wonder if anyone uses FULL HARD 301 stainless ? It can be found in thin sizes. We used it as a spring in non-knife applications.

I use .040" on my smaller gentleman's folders and I'm starting to use it on some of my 3" and 3-1/4" blade knives as well. My general rule is tactical styled stuff gets .063" and dressier knives get the thinner stuff.

416 stainless is a good choice, though for the work going into it, I'd probably spend the couple extra dollars on Titanium. Yes, it can be a little "gummier" and harder to work, but really not much more so, and especially in liner lock thickness.
