What steel in Gerber LMF?

Can anyone tell me what steel was used in the Gerber LMF?

The steel in a Gerber "LMF" is 440A. (RC hardness is 54-56).
I have one (along with a Blackjack Knive "Anaconda I Bowie") that I'm looking to trade for a Gerber "BMF".

No, LMF and BMF are both 440A.

I think 425 was used extensively by Buck, not by Gerber.
