what steel to use

if you had to clean,skin,an butcher your game but only had these 4 choices what would it be an why...ATS-34,52-100,A-2,D-2...
 
A2 is my pick of the given choices. I guess because my Bark River knives are some of my best hunting knives and they are all A2. Mike's heat treated A2 really excels at these given tasks.
 
A2 for me as well. I don't particularly care for ATS-34 (to be fair, I don't care for 154CM, either), don't know anything about 52-100, and D2 is inferior to A2 (IMHO).
 
D2. Very tough, takes an excellent edge, semi stainless, easy to resharpen. If I came up against bones I'd be glad to have D2.
