I’ll start (even though mine was a couple days ago). I installed a scope on a 10/22. After I dry fitted everything I took it apart and reassembled using threadlocker so everything would stay put. I put one drop in each of the receiver screw holes before tightening the picatinny rail. The screw holes goes all the way into the receiver 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. The threadlocker dripped down and my bolt carrier group (?) was seized up. Couldn’t wiggle it 1/4” in any direction 🤬. I started thinking “fuck, fuck, fuckity, fuck”. Luckily I had used blue threadlocker. I carefully applied heat from a heat gun and banged the receiver down like it was a hammer! Success! Once it got moving, I cleaned it out really good using lighter fluid and CLP. Looks like I’m in the clear. 😅

What dumb thing did you manage to do?

Also a threadlocker story: For the 1 millionth time on the same gun, had an "everything comes apart!" moment with an lpvo and offset red dot setup in a Condition One mount. I knew I had thread lock on the J-arm screws. Applied heat, but still snapped one of the heads off. The screw snapping was Billy Batz from Goodfellas: Now go home and getcher fuckin shine box! I was Tommy: MOTHA FUCKIN MUTT!!

Immediately rage-bought a new J-arm.

If you want to see some hilarious stuff, thieves getting nailed with glitter-fart spray bombs is great.


Personally, I think lethal/harmful/horribly disfiguring/crippling booby traps on/in your property (i.e., in your house or car) should be 100% legal.

All it would take is one or two jackwagons getting wrecked; car break-ins, burglaries, home invasions, and package theft would plummet. Plus, I wouldn't have to get out of bed to sweep my house and confront intruders in the middle of the night.

The older I get, the more I dislike people (company in this forum excluded). I'm 41...... the next 20 years are going to be rough, assuming I live that long.
