What style of the RC-3 should I get?

Hey everyone I want to pick up a RC3 but cant decide on all the damn colors:). Also, the RC3MIL really interests me but I havnt heard much about it does anyone own this model?? If so whats the difference between the linen micarta handle and canvas, and does the pointed pommel bother you or not? Pics appreciated ... thanks
 
You guys are right these Rat Knives are addicting I really don't need anymore knives but I just have to get more Rats!
 
I like the canvas micarta. Nice and grippy yet easy on your hands. :thumbup:
 
I would get the plain edge, modified pommel in black with gray micarta.
It is probably the safest route to go if in doubt about what's best for your needs or preferences.
No matter what you get you're going to want another so it really doesn't matter what's first.:D

Now that I have several Rat's I would say the RC3MIL would be my first choice. It is nice to have all the sheath options in one package. If the knife is going to be a user the canvas micarta offers the best grip and looks good.
 
i love the orange handle...mine has the glass breaker handle which i prefer too...
 
Picture is over a year old but you can see the scales on each model....the RC3MIL is sweet , one of my Favs....

the RC3MIL has the canvas micarta ( I believe the Tan RC's has too) which has the best grip in wet conditions,to me Linen like on the Black RC's and the G10 which is on the green RC's feel about the same wet,I still love the Orange G10 scale the most.....
 
thanks for the info everyone...man i think ill have to get both the RC3MIL and RC3 G10 orange they are just both to sweet to decide.
 
Wow, seeing these pictures makes me want to forgo more kershaws and get an RC-3 with orange scales and an izula to go with it.

Why is it that since I joined bf I have urges to spend lots of mony on sharp things?
