I've had this ole Ka-Bar slippie for a couple yrs. It has delrin handles, appears to have carbon blades & it reads "1059" U.S.A.

My question isn't so much what specific model Ka-Bar it is & specs, but more was standard slip-joint design would this be called? It's about 3 3/8" closed.

While I've enjoyed slippies for many yrs, I just never really got into them & just learning to ID the different types of models.

Thank you in advance.

"Senator" might be accurate, as in "Equal End Pen Knife." The ends are equal after all, and the blade selection is correct for a Senator.
But that Ka-Bar is less sleek and graceful than most "Senator" knives - the KaBar appears to be more of a working knife.

So "Equal End Two Blade Whittler" is my best and final guess.

I would refer to it as an Eisenhower, aka Senator or Equal End Pen. I have a similar knife from Ka Bar

Thank you for the answers, I appreciate it. I don't carry it much anymore, but it is well used.
