What the FOX?

A knife site I like to browse has recently added Fox Knives to their inventory. I don't know much about 'em and would like to hear more about them from some folks who are 'in the know.'

The Citizen looks nice, and I like the Gunhammer and Mini Spy as well...

Anyone care to share their thoughts on Fox folders? :)
 
I picked up a Deimos folder that's a Fox/Citadel collaboration a while back and I've been very happy with it. F&F are excellent, action is very smooth, lock engages well with no bladeplay and their take on the LAWKS mechanism actually seems sturdier and more intuitive to manipulate than CRKTs. My only nit to pick is that the detent is a bit weak, so you need some wrist action to fully deploy the blade with the flipped. I've only made the one purchase from them, but if it's a representative sample I'd put them on par with Spyderco, which is a pretty major compliment.
 
They are made in Italy which is eccellente! Plus, they use N690Co steel which I absolutely love and think is one of the most underrated steels out there.

I'm not usually one for 'tactical' styles but I like the looks of this one for some reason...
 
I met a couple of the guys from fox knives and checked out alot of there knives at g3, must say they have a great product line not to mention some good people as well
 
Fox makes very good knives, they make them for Italian military and some others as well.

We don't hear much about them in the USA because they don't have a very good distribution system and dealers tend to be smaller online outfits.
 
The FOX Gunhammer is a Darrel Ralph licensed design, though I don't agree with calling it a Gunhammer since that is direct reference to the flipper tang on the DDR and HTM Gunhammers. That said, the FOX knives I have handled at shows are great quality.
